Challenge #8 - Anything BUT a Square

Good Morning Crafters
What a talented bunch we have in and around blogland. The variety and high standard of the entries into the last challenge of New Beginnings was amazing.
We thank, again, our very kind and generous sponsor of Crafts and Me and the lucky winners of both the EDT picks and the sponsor prize will be announced  later.

The challenge this next two weeks is aimed at testing your ingenuity but ordinary cards are also welcomed of course - as long as it is NOT A SQUARE. So mixed media, tags, ATC's, altered items and many more makes will come into this category
We are honoured to have Kathryne of Stamp Art Design sponsoring this week's challenge. She is generously offering 5 digis from her shop to one lucky person

Kathryne has this to say about herself
Hello stamping friends! Thank you for welcoming me into your home and hearts. I am a freehand graphic illustrator, joining you in the wonderful and exciting world of digi stamping! Challenge # 7 - NEW BEGINNINGS

Good Morning everyone
We hope you all had a good break over the festive period and that the time spent with loved ones was enjoyed by all. For those that join in with the giving and receiving of gifts, here's hoping you all got what you wished for.
We had some gorgeous projects entered into our last challenge "Last Minute Shopping", sponsored by Stitchy Bear. I'll be along later to let you all know who have been the lucky winners.

We have some sad news to impart here, Pauline has made a hard decision to step down from the EDT due to family commitments. We, of course, wish her and her family all the best of everything in the future and she will be sadly missed.

NEW BEGINNINGS
This week heralded in a new year; contrary to that believed by many that the world, as we know it, would end before the festive period really got a hold of us. We survived and are all in the dawn of a new (Mayan) era.
Each New Year brings new resolutions for many (most to be broken in a few days). How many of you have vowed to use up that stash before buying more?
A few couples would have used the opportunity of family gatherings to announce their plans of starting a new life together.
Many babies would have been born and each family would be at the start of a new age.
You might have used the additional leisure time to discover a new technique in your crafting.

So starts a new challenge.
This next two weeks, we have been honoured to be sponsored by
The Shop has many gorgeous images to choose from and one lucky winner will get to choose THREE digi images of their choice.

There's the usual EDT choices that will win some of Rick's fabulous images
Rick St Dennis has some fabulous images, both new and the old favourites, available in his Etsy shop, just right for this challenge. Whether you like them traditional or downright creepy, there's something for everyone.

Whatever your "NEW BEGINNING" is, we would love it if you would share your crafty interpretation of it.

We have a new beginning here on the EDT. I would like to welcome Alison to the fold. I'm sure many of you have seen Alison's fabulous work in the past and we are lucky that she has agreed to join us.

The girls of Team Glitter have gathered together and made some beautiful examples of their
New Beginnings.
